A new body of fiberglass and resin works
Thursday Jazz Fest Eve
This work really isn't really about an infantile regression, it's more of an adolescent type where detailed ships, trains, planes and insects are most fascinating.
Within the framework of familiar shapes and images, there are the basic questions: Where am I? What am I doing? Where am I going? Did it have to be that way? Does it have to be this way? Why? I end up in the studio where complex materials and processes allow for a place of rituals.
I don't know much except that right now the studio looks like a bizarre toy shop. Whether it is regression or something else, least for the time being, a bizarre toy shop is a good place for me.
